About Us

I grew up in Hartville, Ohio as an amish boy on a diary farm.  Learning to pound nails at an early age to make stalls for the horses, cows, etc.     My dad Joe Coblentz is a skilled farmer as well as a carpenter which skill has he passed on to us boys teaching us to make our own gun cases, pigeon lofts, etc.  In 1988 we moved to Rosebush, MI, a small amish church community.

In 1990 the local cabinet shop Helmuth Holz Haus had a job opening, I had always dreamed of being trained by a professional to do custom kitchen cabinets, so I took the job and stayed for about three years.

In 1995 we moved to MO. and I started my first cabinet shop, working out of our basement.  Then in 1998 wanting to be closer to family and with the Lord's direction we moved to Bearlake, MI.  where we have been in business over 10 years. It is with fond memories that I think back of working at Helmuth Holz Haus and sometimes still I make a call to my "Cabinet shop boss" for some valuable information.

We trust your experience working with us will leave fond memories as well.

Our desire is to work with our hands serving Christ Jesus our Lord by serving others,( as we would like to be served) as long as God intends for us to stay on this earth. Col.3:17 , Phillipians 2:9-11 , Rom. 10:9-13 .

Because of his saving Grace,

Marvin and Karen Coblentz
